Update: That Pesky New Contract

So, if you haven’t already entertained yourself by reading the three page arrest report released earlier by the AJC, then I would highly suggest that you do. After reading the report one has to wonder how Evans did not resign immediately. Unless he was indeed completely obliterated and did not fully recall the previous night’s events, then financial reasons are probably the reason he held off on resigning. Basically, he resigns and he gets no financial package…but if he’s terminated he’s expected to receive a sizable amount.

Which brings me to the the next update: Dean Legge over at Dawgpost points out that his new contract could make Evans a very expensive firing, even though his actual firing should not bring up any legal news in the least bit.
