UGA LADY DAWGS ARE HOT! HOT! HOT!

Well the men’s hockey and basketball teams are not the only ones doing well this season. It’s time to check out the women (which is certainly one of my favorite sports)!

The third ranked UGA Lady Dawg Equestrian team (For you Auburn Fans that means “Horses”) rebounded after falling to the War Eagles/Tigers/Plainsmen last week with wins over Fresno State on Friday and New Mexico on Saturday in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  Freshman, Olivia Dorey took MVP honors in her event.  The Fall portion of the 2010-2011 season concluded this weekend so they can give their little ponies a rest.  The next event will be held at the University of South Carolina on February 5, 2011.  High Ho Silver, Girls, and Away!!!  Keep riding those horses “Dawgie” style! The Georgia Womens Volleyball (Lady Volley Dogs) team kicked Alabama’s butt Sunday 3 sets to 1.  Senior Valentina Gonzales set a new UGA record for career block assists.  Next up, that other dastardly Alabama team, Auburn, will travel to Athens on Tuesday for a 7:00 PM match.  Yes ladies, spike that round ball up the “War Eagle’s” butt!!  Finally, our 18th ranked Lady BullDawg basketball team, akin to their male counterparts, have started the season 3-0 after defeating Indiana today 84-51.  Yes, I would say that was a “blow out” Lady Dawg style!  Jasmine Jones led the scoring with 21 points.  Tuesday, the team travels to play USC and then on to Los Angeles to participate in the LMU Thanksgiving Classic.  Go you “Hairy Lady Dawgs?” (source: www.georgiadogs.com)

Have to keep telling you about all the good things happening in Georgia sports this year to help get our minds off the one sport that is supposed to bring in all the money for these other sports, THAT BEING OUR STINKY FOOTBALL TEAM!!! (source: www.georgiadogs.com)
