Georgia Bulldogs are 1 win away from winning the East division. Its really simple, win and they’re in. But if for some reason Kentucky puts on a dog fight and beats Georgia, South Carolina will win the East division. For many experts, this game belongs to the Bulldogs. Yes last time these two teams met in Athens, Kentucky beat Georgia. Bulldogs have won 8 straight games since starting the season at 0-2. Georgia is 8-2, 6-1 in conference play.

Georgia trashed Auburn last week 45-7, the Bulldogs hope to do the same thing to Kentucky. Aaron Murray is having a stellar season. He’s tied with Matthew Stafford with 51 passing touchdowns. By December he should break the record. When or if Georgia beats Kentucky, they will not know who they will face in the SEC Championship game. Alabama, LSU, or Arkansas would face Georgia in the SEC Championship game. If Arkansas beats LSU next week; and Alabama loses to Auburn the Razorbacks will head to Atlanta. If LSU beats Arkansas, then LSU will advance to the SEC Championship game. Alabama could win the West if LSU loses to Arkansas and if Arkansas loses this week. The West division has too many complications right now.

Kentucky Wildcats are 4-6, 1-5 in conference play. Last week Kentucky lost to Vanderbilt; it put a dent for Kentucky to have a chance to win 6 games this year. Kentucky Wildcats are in their 2nd season with Head coach Joker Philips. Junior quarterback Morgan Newton of Kentucky has played pretty well. Through 8 games he has thrown 8 touchdowns, threw for 784 yards with 7 interceptions. His leading wide receiver La’Rod King has 7 touchdowns with 596 receiving yards. He has 39 receptions and averages 15.3 receiving yards. Kentucky’s running back CoShik Williams hasn’t played very much this season. He has 2 touchdowns for 407 rushing yards. CoShik Williams has 89 carries and averages 4.6 yards per game. Kentucky has struggled this season. They lost to South Carolina and Florida. After this weekend, the Wildcats finish the season at home versus Tennessee. So the question will be, will Georgia play the same way as they did last week? Or will they stumble because of too much confidence in themselves? Georgia plays Kentucky at 12:21pm on the SEC Network.
