Clutch shots by Dustin Ware and Gerald Robinson lifted Georgia over Winthrop 92-86 in overtime Tuesday in Athens.

The Bulldogs trailed 75-71 with 15 seconds left in regulation, but Ware hit a 3-pointer and, after one free throw by Winthrop’s Derrick Henry, Robinson tied the game on a
coast-to-coast layup with 3 seconds left to tie the game at 76-all and force overtime.

Ware hit a 3-pointer to open the extra session and kick-start a 10-2 Georgia run as the Bulldogs never trailed in overtime.

The Bulldogs (8-5) have now won four games in a row heading into their non-conference finale against Delaware State at 2 p.m. Saturday in Athens.
