Two University of Georgia wide receivers underwent knee surgery Tuesday and surgery for a tailback is still to come. All three were injured in Georgia’s overtime victory over Tennessee Saturday.

Junior Michael Bennett had a right knee menisectomy performed by team physicians at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens. He is expected to return to the team at some point this season following completion of a rehab program, according to Georgia Senior Associate Athletic Director for  Sports Medicine Ron Courson.

Redshirt sophomore Justin Scott-Wesley also underwent surgery Tuesday at St. Mary’s Hospital to repair an injury to both menisci in his  right knee. He will have ACL reconstruction at a later date which is still to be determined. A full recovery is anticipated and he should be able to return to football without limitations with the start of 2014 fall practice, according to Courson.

Sophomore tailback Keith Marshall will require right knee ACL reconstructive surgery which will be performed within the next three weeks.
