#5: Wide Receivers

I am so excited about the receivers we are returning this year. After watching so many receivers get injured last year I am pumped to see what these boys can do. Leaders are going to be Malcolm Mitchell, Chris Conley, and Michael Bennett.

Those three guys can catch about anything that comes their way, and if they stay healthy I do not see any defense being able to stop them. Mitchell had one of the most impressive freshman seasons I have seen in a while with 665 yards even with missing two games. After a one year stint on defense and then a very unfortunate injury at the beginning of his junior season he is going to be more ready than ever to make a huge impact on our offense. If healthy, I predict he will have around 800 this year and eight touchdowns.

Conley had a very impressive year last year and seems to have taken a leadership role on the Dawgs offense. I always viewed Conley as a good receiver, but seeing how great he did stepping up in such an injury-filled season I am convinced he has the ability to be great this year. From what I hear he also has great chemistry with quarterback Hutson Mason and I think he may be a favorite on the UGA offense. Bennett reminds me of Kris Durham. If we can keep Bennett healthy he may be the biggest surprise for the UGA offense.
