Wilson was recruited to the Bulldogs by defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt, who obviously let the young man know that his options weren’t limited to just offense.

From the Dawgs247.com report:

"“I love Georgia because they gave me the opportunity to play receiver or DB,” Wilson first told 247Sports.com on Thursday. “I want to play defense. I’d rather play defense. I think I’ll last longer at DB.Coach Pruitt, he’s good,” Wilson said. “He’s made an impression on me and I listen to everything he says. He said he will make me a top corner if I just stick with it so I’m just going to stick with it.”"

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Wilson is ranked as the No. 71 player in the state of Florida, and the No. 61 wide receiver nationally according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Wilson had Georgia at the top of his list for some time, and chose the Dawgs over Wisconsin, Louisville, West Virginia, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple, UCF, Virginia and Western Kentucky, among others.
