  • One of the biggest online oddsmakers, Bovada, has released their latest odds for the 2014 college football championship, with Georgia breaking into the top 10, at 18-1 odds to win it all.

Previously the Dawgs had been given 25-1 odds, but like several other SEC teams, Georgia has moved up in the pecking order. There are four SEC teams included in Bovada’s top 10, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and LSU.

Right now, Bovada has both Alabama and Florida State as co-favorites to win the national championship, giving both teams 11-2 odds.

These odds really mean very little except the fact that the bookies and oddsmakers think that UGA has a better than decent shot at winning the title, which isn’t surprising at all to be honest.

Bovada also has given Georgia 5-1 odds to win the SEC Championship, tied with South Carolina for third behind Alabama and LSU, and they’ve given the Dawgs 8-5 odds to win the SEC East, which is tops in that division.

Apparently Vegas likes Georgia’s chances much more than ESPN does, as reported by Dawn of the Dawg last night.

Here’s a breakdown of all the SEC national championship odds per Bovada’s latest release.
