If you want a ticket to see Georgia vs. South Carolina at Williams-Brice Stadium this weekend, you’d better be prepared to pay a premium price.

More from Georgia Football

According to the latest data from secondary ticket provider Ticket City, the Bulldogs-Gamecocks tickets have an average price of $170, with the cheapest ticket starting at $83. Those prices are sure to go up as the game gets closer this week.

Sitting just below the Georgia-South Carolina game is Tennessee at Oklahoma, which has an average price of $169 per ticket, and the cheapest available being $124.

Let’s face it, unless you’re a student who lucked into a set of student tickets, or an alumni who’s had seats for years, you’re probably going to be heading to a secondary ticket source to get into the game. May as well get ready to pony up now.

Georgia’s game at South Carolina has a lot of importance beyond just the ticket prices too. Some think that this could actually be a game that decides who wins the SEC East, and that’s not an unreasonable projection, as stated by Bleacher Report’s Adam Kramer.

One thing is certain, the winner of this game will have a say in who does win the SEC East, and in South Carolina’s case, a loss would put them behind the 8-ball with their second consecutive conference loss.
