Georgia vs. Auburn Hottest Ticket in College Football Week 12

Georgia vs. Auburn is always a big game, but with so much at stake, the ticket prices for this year’s edition have skyrocketed.

The Georgia Bulldogs and Auburn Tigers have the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry in college football. They also have a game that both ranked teams must win this week.

Combine those facts, and suddenly a ticket to Sanford Stadium on Nov. 15 becomes a hot commodity, even more so than usual.

According to the latest data from TicketCity.com, one of the top secondary ticket providers in the country, Georgia vs. Auburn is the most expensive ticket in the nation by a longshot this week, with Mississippi State vs. Alabama coming in a distant second at the moment.

Both Georgia and Auburn have their backs against the wall, and can’t afford any more conference losses, both having two at the moment. This will be the Bulldogs’ final SEC game of the season, while Auburn still has to face Alabama in the Iron Bowl, which once again looks to be an important game in the shaping of the national championship picture.

At an average price of $244 per ticket, Georgia fans had best skimp a little on the beer for their tailgates, or perhaps sell some autographs to supplement their bank account.
