Easy come easy go.

Last year Georgia opened the season the envy of the college football world with three top shelf running backs along with the recuperating Keith Marshall. Since that time Georgia has been in the throes of an Agatha Christie mystery with ball carriers lost each time the lights went out.

Sony Michel, the shifty change of pace to pounders Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb, was lost during the Tennessee game. Now it appears Michel’s spring practice is over with a broken bone in his left shoulder.

The Augusta Chronicle reported Coach Mark Richt’s explanation that Michel isn’t practicing because of a shoulder injury that won’t need surgery.

“He’ll probably miss the rest of the spring,” Richt said. “He should be fine in a matter of weeks.”

Not only is Michel a splendid running back, he is a gifted special teams performer.

While waiting to watch Michel again, check out these video highlights.

The Georgia Nation can also listen to this musical offering by Michel’s rap alter ego, 2stackz.

It’s rap y’all, so screen it before you play it for the kids.

Michel was named the SEC Freshman of the Week and CFPA Honorable Mention Running Back of the Week after he led the team with 155 rushing yards and three touchdowns against Troy. He played in eight games, making one start during the 2014 Georgia season, gaining 6.4 yards per rush. ESPN named Michel the number two running back in the nation his senior year at American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida.
