Georgia basketball has played well so far in the 2016-17 season. They’re 4-2, played no. 5 Kansas tough, and should be favored to win the rest of their non-conference games.

But one thing holding the Bulldogs back is the lack of a third and fourth scorer. After six games, Yante Maten is averaging 22.6 and J.J. Frazier is averaging 15.4 points per game. But know one else is averaging more than eight points.

In the loss to Kansas, Maten was the only player who scored in double figures. The Bulldogs lost that game by 11. If someone else had stepped up to contribute more in scoring, Georgia may have left Kansas City with a major upset.

Several players certainly have the skill and potential to average more points per game, it’s just a matter of them making their shots and being in position to take good ones. Here are the three players who are most likely to start averaging more points per game.
