This Saturday the Georgia Bulldogs had lots of top ranked prospects in Athens. Here’s a quick look at who was in town:

The Commits: Max Wray, Adam Anderson and Donovan Georges

All three of the current Georgia Bulldogs 2018 class were in town this weekend. Wray, the #6 overall offensive tackle that year tweeted out the below picture of all 3 of them for the first time.

Anderson and Wray have both been committed to UGA for some time and it was likely a good idea to have them on campus this weekend. With so many other big targets in town, having recruits who bleed red and black is a great way to build an infectious environment.

Top ranked prospects:

KJ Henry: DE/OLB, North Carolina

Henry, a 5-star prospect and the #2 overall DE in the 2018 class is an explosive prospect for next year. He is the kind of exciting pass rusher a class can be built around and seemed to really enjoy his time in Athens.

Micah Parsons: DE/OLB, Pennsylvania

Parsons is a truly unique talent. The #4 overall player in the country next year, he is currently committed to Penn State. It will be a big challenge to try and flip him but UGA are certainly going to try.

Jadon Haselwood: WR, Georgia

One of the top ranked players in the 2019 class, Haselwood recently gave an interview to rivals where he stated that he was looking to commit sooner rather than later. Kirby Smart is trying to take advantage of the deep 2019 Georgia talent base and securing an early commitment here would be huge.

Teradja Mitchell: ILB, Virgina

The top ranked inside linebacker in the 2018 class, Mitchell is a prospect UGA have been pushing hard for. They will likely only take 2 ILB’s this class and are hoping to beat out Clemson and Virginia Tech for Mitchell.

Other Prospects:

Malik Langham DE, Michael Harris LB, Otis Reese FS, Ty Terrell WR

There were lots of other prospects in town as well as the big names. All of these 4 seemed to put out some really great tweets throughout the day. While none of them have the big profile of the above players, there are some very good players in this group.

And lastly, a commitment!

Rashad Cheney Jr: DT/DE, Georgia

Cheney is an exciting prospect on the defensive line for 2019. He only received an offer from UGA earlier this week, but he immediately committed, seeing the chance to play at UGA as a dream opportunity for him.
