7. Juan Daniels

Daniels spent most of career at Georgia playing for Ray Goff. He came to Georgia in 1993 and didn’t play as a freshman.

However, in 1994 Daniels immediately became one of quarterback Eric Zeier’s top targets. He caught 37 passes that year for 586 yards with five touchdowns.

Because Mike Gobo got injured in 1995, Georgia had to use three different quarterbacks throughout that season, including Hines Ward. But it didn’t affect Daniels all that much. He had his best season that year with 46 catches for 726 yards with five touchdowns. His yardage was good enough for ninth in the SEC and the touchdowns were eighth.

Goff left Georgia after the 1995 season to make way for Jim Donnan to become head coach in 1996. Ward played the entire season at receiver so Bobo had two great targets to pass to. That of course affected Daniels stats but he still caught 37 passes for 663 yards with six touchdowns. His yardage and touchdowns that year were eighth and fifth in the SEC respectively.

Daniels left Georgia after the 96 season with 1,975 receiving yards which is currently 10th in school history.
