Georgia football: Predicting the opening day depth chart after the G-Day Game

The G-Day Game is behind us and now it’s time to look ahead towards the 2017 Georgia football regular season.

It’s still early in the year, but the G-Day Game gave a lot of clues about who’s starting and who’s coming off the bench for Georgia football in 2017.

Position battles were intense. Players who have been Georgia for three years now are being pushed by younger players. A few players have been pleasant surprises, while others leave fans to question their futures with the team.

Nevertheless, spring practice was interesting as always and the G-Day Game gave fans plenty to look forward to this fall. So in that spirit, we’re going to try to predict what the depth chart will look like when Georgia opens the season against Appalachian State.
