The Georgia football program is 125 years old now. That’s 12 and a half decades. Some of those have been good, some have been great and others not so good.

Th end of the 2010’s is quickly approaching and I’m beginning to wonder what the legacy of the twenty-teens will be.

Some decades are looked at fondly as periods of 10 years that the program needs to find away to replicate. Other decades may not have brought championships but they were still important for other reasons.

How will we eventually look back on the 2010’s? The next three seasons will decide that. But how great were past decades and which decade of all the ones that have concluded this far are the best?

That’s what we’re going to decide this week by counting down the best decades in Georgia football history.
