The newest commitment to the 2018 Georgia football recruiting class is very appropriately nicknamed to come to Athens. But who will commit to the G next?

By now, I’m sure you have all heard the big news that the number 1 running back recruit in the nation for 2018, Zamir “Zeus” White verbally committed to Georgia football on Tuesday. The buzz over this kid was off the charts, and justifiably so.

He is a beast. Remember how electric Todd Gurley was? White has the potential to be that good. And while I don’t follow recruiting as closely as some of my fellow Dawg fans, I knew what a big deal getting Zeus was for this program.

So I was tuned into the live feed at noon. I watched as he humbly and graciously thanked everyone and every school involved in his recruiting process. And, of course, I pumped my fist when I watched him walk to the table with Alabama, Clemson, North Carolina, Ohio State and Georgia hats on it and almost immediately pick up the one with that beautiful G on it.

Many of our rival fans are talking major smack. Talking about Signing Day being in February and how White isn’t a sure thing to come play for the Dawgs. Don’t listen to them. The salty Tennessee and Auburn fans (who were never really in the running anyway for White) are hilarious.

While both have hideous orange as one of their team colors, they’re obviously green with envy over White committing to the G. Let them hate. It’s not going to stop Kirby from doing what he does best. And it’s not going to stop White from coming to UGA and becoming the next great back at running back U.

So, as the one and only Goldberg would say, Who’s next? The first major domino to fall was Zamir White. There are three more potential targets for the Dawgs for the class of 2018 whose decisions could be coming in the near future. All three of them are legit studs and ranked among the best in the nation at their respective positions.

So let’s take a look at what I’m going to call “The next big 3 to commit to the G“.
