The SEC is known as a tough conference with equally tough running backs. But who are the three best backs Georgia football will face in 2017?

Last week, we took a look at the top quarterbacks the Dawgs will be playing against this season. This week, we take a look at the top running backs they will be facing.

The SEC is known for bruising and dynamic running backs. Always has been. 2017 will be no different. The conference is absolutely stacked at the position. And just like with the quarterback position, the Dawgs will see a few talented backs but also are lucky that they won’t have to deal with a few of the SEC’s absolute best.

Georgia doesn’t have Alabama on their schedule, so no having to deal with RB Bo Scarborough, who is perhaps the most physically dominant RB in the conference. LSU is also absent from UGA’S regular season schedule, which means no Derrius Guice, who I consider to be the best overall back in the conference and perhaps the nation.

And of course we can’t forget that 2 of the best running backs in the nation will be suiting up for Georgia football on Saturdays this fall. Nick Chubb and Sony Michel are one of the, if not the, best running back duos in college football this season.

So with better offensive line play,  the Dawgs will have a running game of their own that can move the ball against any team on their schedule. Hopefully either Scarborough or Guice will be added to this list with a Dawgs SEC East crown and their first trip to Atlanta for the SEC championship since 2012.

But for now, let’s take a look at the top 3 running backs the Dawgs will have to face this regular season.
