With Georgia Football missing starting CB Malkom Parrish for a few weeks, who could end up starting while he’s out?

Related Story: Only 1 spot left on Offensive Line.

Malcom Parrish was one of the best players on the Georgia Football team last year. Don’t let his size fool you, Parrish was invaluable. He has really good coverage skills and great makeup speed and he also might be Georgia’s best tackler despite being undersized. He almost always brings his man down and that kind of consistency will be hard to replicate.

Parrish broke a bone in his foot last week and will likely be out for at least 4 weeks. The departure of most of the juniors in the secondary at the end of last season means that the cover is going to have to come from freshmen and other young players. That’s a little bit scary and could be a potential weakness on what is otherwise a stout defense.

So who are the players that could end up seeing extended time while Parish is out? Who is the most likely to start and at what position? Lastly, could this be the beginning of a long time starting job for one or more of these guys?
