Georgia football has several big games on the 2020 schedule that ESPN’s two popular on-site morning shows would be interested in visiting.

Expect to see a lot of Georgia football fans on Saturday (and one Monday) mornings this season. The Bulldogs, are among the top teams in college football and have a gauntlet schedule in 2020.

Several of these matchups are bound to catch the eye of two of ESPN’s morning pre-game shows, College Gameday and SEC Nation. When these shows visit, it’s a big deal adding to the tailgating environment. Here are the games on the 2020 Georgia football schedule that the two shows are most likely to visit.

College Gameday: Georgia vs. Virginia (Atlanta)

The Georgia Bulldogs and Virginia Cavaliers have Monday, September 7 all to themselves in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The two squads will meet for the 20th time and for the third time in Atlanta.

College Gameday will certainly be in Atlanta that morning, recapping a big second weekend of college football while hyping the upcoming matchup between the Bulldogs and Cavaliers. But this being the only game of the day is not the only reason why it’s an intriguing matchup. Georgia is firmly among the best teams in America and have a national title on its mind.

Virginia, however, is a team on the rise with head coach Bronco Mendenhall. The Cavs have improved every year with him as head coach and finished 9-5 last season while winning the ACC Coastal Division. Virginia ended the season with a one-score loss to Florida in the Orange Bowl. Virginia can see the next tier of college football teams and a win against the Bulldogs will help them rise up the rankings.
