<div></div>
<div>The Gym Dogs (6-5-1, 4-1-1 SEC) posted the highest score on all four events, and Chelsea Davis and Shayla Worley tied career-highs on bars and beam, respectively.</div>
<div></div>
<div>&#8220;We talked about early in the week that winners make adjustments and losers make excuses,&#8221; said UGA head coach Danna Durante. &#8220;We had to work hard tonight. We had some stumbles and some mistakes, but we didn&#8217;t have to count a fall. That&#8217;s big for us confidence-wise. Our focus this week was on beam, and we did better tonight. We can still do even better, but I was pleased with the progress.&#8221;</div>
<div></div>
<div>UGA opened the meet with a 49.4 on bars behind career-highs 9.95 by Davis and 9.925 by Brittany Rogers. Lindsey Cheek added a 9.875 in the leadoff position. Davis, ranked first in the country on bars, has now won the event in all nine meets this season, and she has scored a 9.9 or higher seven times. Missouri (1-8, 0-6 SEC) had a 48.875 on vault.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Georgia then went to vault and turned in a 49.15 to take a 98.55-97.575 lead at the halfway point. Brandie Jay led the Gym Dogs with a 9.9, which was her fourth straight vault of at least 9.9. Georgia extended its lead with a 49.125 on floor in the third rotation. Noel Couch led the team with a 9.925 in the anchor to claim her second floor title in four meets.</div>
<div></div>
<div>On beam, Worley turned in a 9.95 to tie her career-high, and Couch added a 9.85. Georgia had a 49.15 on the balance beam. Rogers won her first career all-around with a 38.6 and became the first Gym Dog in three tries to win the all-around this season.</div>
<div></div>
<div>Georgia will return to action Friday, March 1st at LSU.</div>
