The University of Georgia football program is filled with tradition and pride. It is well-represented and respected throughout the NFL and is generally considered a pipeline program for talented athletes with aspirations of playing football at the highest level.

Speaking of the NFL, last weekend marked the beginning of the NFL Playoffs for the 2024-2025 season with the Wildcard Week kicking things off. And the former Bulldogs all across the league did not disappoint.

Of the fourteen teams playing in this year's NFL playoffs, the Bulldogs have a whopping 26 active players. As we take a look back at the week that was, we recognize some the more impactful Dawgs in the first round of the 2024-2025 NFL playoffs.

11 Standout Georgia Bulldogs in the first round of the NFL Playoffs

QB Matthew Stafford - LA Rams: He led his Rams to a 27-9 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Stafford threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns on 19-of-27 passing.

RB James Cook - Buffalo Bills: He rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown as the Bills’ dominated the Denver Broncos 31-7.

WR Ladd McConkey - LA Chargers: McConkey totaled 197 yards on nine receptions and one TD in a 32-12 loss to the Houston Texans. McConkey set a new NFL record for most yards by a rookie in postseason history.

WR George Pickens - Pittsburgh Steelers: Pickens finished with a solid 87 yards on five receptions and one TD in a 28-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

DL Jalen Carter - Philadelphia Eagles: Carter had two total tackles recorded, one pass deflection and two QB hits in a 22-10 win over the Green Bay Packers.

LB Roquan Smith - Baltimore Ravens: Smith finished with five recorded total tackles, three of which were solo, in a 28-14 win against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

LB Nakobe Dean - Philadelphia Eagles: Dean's six total tackles, three solo and two tackles for loss helped lead the Eagles to a 22-10 win over the Green Bay Packers. Nakobe unfortunately suffered a season ending knee injury in this game.

LB Nolan Smith - Philadelphia Eagles: Smith recorded eight total tackles, four solo and two sacks, in a dominant performance in Philadelphia's 22-10 win over the Green Bay Packers.

LB Quay Walker - Green Bay Packers: Walker dominated with eight total tackles including four solo in a 22-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

DB Javon Bullard - Green Bay Packers: Bullard recorded three total tackles including two solo in a 22-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

DB Kamari Lassiter - Houston Texans: Lassiter finished with two total tackles, one solo, one tackle for loss, two pass deflections and one interception in a 32-12 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
