DAWGS OPEN 2011 WITH THE BLUE MEANIES IN CHICKEN BOWL

Well it’s official and hot off the presses! As part of a wholesale change of scheduling of the Dawgs future football schedules, we will be dumping Louisville at home in favor of opening up against the currently undefeated Boise State Broncos in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff in Atlanta (Georgia Dome.) Yes, that is the same Boise State that the current BCS (which I like to refer to as B.S.) just doesn’t know what to do with, because all they keep doing is winning, but voters are trying to keep them out of the championship game, because they are from the WAC. By the way, as of this writing Boise is 37-0 against Fresno State in the 4th quarter. They are currently ranked #4 in the BCS. The last time Georgia played Boise State was 2005 and we blew them out in Athens, but that was then (when we had a good team and more importantly a good Defense) and this is now.

When asked how Mark Richt felt about this scheduling change and playing the Broncos in the Georgia Dome the first game, Athletic Director Greg McGarity said he is “very excited. He wanted to make it work.” Oh yea, I bet! I bet with what is going on this season and chances are that A.J. Green will be history next year, old Mark is “biting at the bit” to play the Broncos.

By the way, how do those assholes get away with having an all cobalt blue field and have their players wear matching cobalt blue uniforms (ugly as shit by the way), which allows them to just disappear to visiting teams. With the fifty million rules that the NCAA shoves down the throats of all the conferences, how did they miss a simple rule saying all teams must have uniform playing fields? (including green damn grass or turf)

Tonight they are wearing all orange uniforms (UGGGGLLLLLYYY!). You guessed it, ORANGE AND FRICKING BLUE AGAIN!!!!! Like it’s not bad enough with Florida and Auburn. We finally got rid of playing Clemson annually years ago (ANOTHER ORANGE AND BLUE). Now, another one that will probably kick our butt.

On a good note, Chris Peterson will get a chance to come down to Georgia and see how he likes it. Maybe he will take the hour drive to Athens and check it out. If 2011 does not yield a turnaround year for the Dawgs, he might get a call to revisit.
