Site5 and FanSided Holiday Season Charity Drive

Announcing Fansided.Com’s first ever charity effort. The cause is for the Boys and Girls Club of America.  A big “shout out” goes to our outstanding network hosting company, Site5, our co-sponsor on this charity effort.  Please check out their site at:   http://www.site5.com/

Our partnership in this endeavour has a goal of $5,000, which we hope to surpass.  FanSided and Site5 have donated the first $500, and we need all of you out there to give a helping hand and “pitch in.”

The Boys and Girls Club of America is a wonderful organization to support.  Their mission statement is as follows:  ” To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”  Their core beliefs are that a Boys & Girls Club Provides:

”  A safe place to learn and grow…

Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals…

Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences…

Hope and opportunity.”

So come on folks, show some Holiday spirit!  Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa we need you to chip in; do your part and help out these kids.  Go to the following site, provided by the Partnership of Fansided.Com and Site5.Com to make your contribution.  Thank you in advance for your generousity!

We all have things to be thankful for this Holiday Season, and it would be nice to give these kids something to be thankful for as well.  I personally am thankful for the following:

♦  Good Health (So far, when I wake up in the morning, my name has not been in the obituaries); and

♦ A great wife who loves college footbal as much as I do (The down side is that she is an Alabama fan); and

♦ The priviledge of owning a super smart, super sweet, baby Congo African Grey that learned how to say “Go Georgia Dawgs” three days before the 2010 season started (The down side is that she asks me “Whatcha Doin'” about 300 times a day); and

♦ That the Dawgs did not have a losing season, and will at least go to a bowl game (although it will be a “Toilet Bowl”)

SO, WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR??????????????????????????????????????

REMEMBER, A BLOG WITHOUT COMMENTS IS THE SAME AS

“THE SOUND OF ONE HAND CLAPPING”
