DAWGS: AND THE GOOD NEWS JUST KEEPS ON COMIN’, KING ACADEMICALLY INELIGIBLE

A source close to Caleb King has announced that the junior will not be making the trip to the Liberty Bowl and is academically ineligible. Whether the issue was grade related or something else was not specified. CMR said, “We won’t have the final report until (Wednesday), so we’re gonna have to wait.”  As of this Thursday A.M., there is no further clarifying word on the matter.

Caleb has missed two games this year because of an ankle injury and another two for a suspension. He was arrested in October for an unpaid speeding ticket.

The junior from Norcoss, who started five games, has 430 rushing yards and two touchdowns and is averaging 5.4 yards per carry.  (source: macon.com)

On closer examination, Christian LeMay, the 5 star quarterback we have landed, and who has been practicing with the team, already has a questionable background before having even enrolled at Georgia.  He sat out his entire senior season, without taking a snap from center, because of a suspension from his High School.  LeMay was home-schooled this fall, after receiving the 30 day suspension.   Apparently he violated an undisclosed code of conduct of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System. He has planned to enroll early at Georgia, but, as mentioned in an earlier blog, will not make the trip to the Liberty Bowl.  (source: ajc.com)

So, apparently CMR has adopted a new strategy in recruiting.  If you recruit a player that you already know has a propensity for trouble, then there will be no surprises once he becomes a Dawg.  So, please CMR, go ahead and make a full court press to get Mr. Crowell from Carver High.  Based upon his behavior at the high school play-off game his team lost, he and Mr. LeMay certainly fall within your new formula.

Here we go again!
