Jakar Hamilton leaving, Isaiah Crowell rib’s

Free Safety redshirt Jakar Hamilton is leaving the team. Jakar Hamilton a 6 foot 2, 205 pound senior from Johnston, South Carolina played 13 games last season. He started 5 games at free safety. Jakar Hamilton started this season as a medical redshirt, he has a stress fracture on his ankle. He injured his ankle during training camp this past summer. Jakar Hamilton played for the Bulldogs since 2010, he transferred from Georgia Military College in Milledgville. He played for Georgia Military College for 2 seasons before coming to UGA.

Last season Hamilton had 27 tackles and 1 interception in 13 games. Jakar Hamilton wanted to leave UGA because he didn’t get enough playing time. He hasn’t decided where he will be playing next season.

Isaiah Crowell has an injury,its his ribs. Isaiah Crowell aggravated his ribs again against Coastal Carolina. Coach Mark Richt wanted him to wear a special rib protection, but Crowell didn’t wear it. Isaiah Crowell first injured his ribs against South Carolina. Isaiah Crowell is slated to start this Saturday’s game against Ole Miss. Georgia can’t afford to have Crowell to be injured, Richard Samuel is supposed to start this Saturday also.
