Georgia Bulldogs will be preparing to play against Mississippi State on Saturday. Last time Mississippi State beat Georgia in Athens was in 1956. Georgia who beat Ole Miss over the weekend are hungry to go over .500 this season. Fans in Athens have silenced their critics of Mark Richt, at least for one more week.

Mississippi State hasn’t played Georgia in Athens since 2006. 3rd year coach Dan Mullen who was the offensive coordinator at Florida will try to win for the 3rd time this season. Dan Mullen who his team beat Georgia last season in Starksville, will try to snap a losing streak playing in Athens. Quarterback Chris Relf of Mississippi State has played well this year. He has thrown for 657 yards with 4 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions. Vick Ballard the running back at Mississippi State has played very well this year. Vick Ballard has 5 touchdowns and rushed for 407 yards. Georgia’s defense will have to try to stop running back Vick Ballard if they want to have a chance to beat Mississippi State.

Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Aaron Murray who had a great game against Ole Miss, will try to duplicate the same this weekend. With Isaiah Crowell as his running back, the Bulldogs will try to slow down Mississippi State’s defense. Last weekend, Georgia didn’t have wide receiver Rantavious Wooten because of a concussion that he suffered in a car accident. He might be back this Saturday.

Safety Bacarri Rambo has 4 interceptions this season. He leads the team in interception. Bacarri Rambo had 2 interceptions with 4 solo tackles in last week’s win. Bacarri Rambo won the College Football Performance Awards National Defensive Back of the Week for his performance against Ole Miss. Georgia is ranked 13th in the nation, 2nd in the SEC in total defense. They have given up 270 yards this season.
