Suspensions of 2 UGA players

Two players from Georgia are going to be suspended for half- game. Those two players are Shawn Williams and Kwame Geathers. Kwame Geathers was suspended for fighting in last week’s win over Vanderbilt. Defensive back Shawn Williams is suspended for a flagrant personal foul during 3rd quarter.

Georgia will have 2 players missing in the 1st half in next week’s game against Florida. How this is a bad time for suspensions. Vanderbilt’s center Logan Stewart will also get a half-game suspension. He committed a flagrant personal foul in the 3rd quarter also. Vanderbilt plays Army this weekend.
At the end of the game, Defensive coordinator of Georgia Todd Grantham got in a heated dispute with Vanderbilt’s head coach James Franklin. This game was pretty much had some heat by the players since the 3rd quarter. Todd Grantham and James Franklin didn’t get suspended.

Todd Grantham had some run ins with the opposing team last year, one in particular was Florida. Last year when Georgia played Florida, Todd Grantham made some mean gesture to the Florida players. He did get reprimanded by Mark Richt.
The SEC gives out suspensions to players that don’t play for Florida or Alabama or Auburn. Last few years there were players from Florida that did some flagrant hits, did they get suspended? NO!! OF COURSE NOT! Just like last year with Auburn’s Nick Fairley took a swing at a player, did he get suspended? NO!!! Someone tell the President of the SEC to stop being bias toward certain teams in the SEC. Its has to stop, Georgia gets penalized too much for too little.
