UGA Recruiting: Beard signs with Bulldogs

Being a former offensive lineman, it just warms my heart when my teams beef up in that area. And on Wednesday, Georgia did some bolstering there.
Per the Augusta Chronicle, junior college offensive lineman Mark Beard signed with the Bulldogs Wednesday and will enroll at the school in January. Beard, a National Junior College Athletic Association honorable mention All-American pick, selected UGA over Arkansas and Mississippi State.
Michael Carvell of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution wrote Wednesday on his blog that Beard will have three years of eligibility remaining. UGA has received commitments
from three other offensive linemen: John Theus of Jacksonville, Fla., who is ranked No. 3 at his position on Scout.com; Greg Pyke of Baltimore, Md., and Chester Brown of Hinesville, Ga.
Looks like Isaiah Crowell and incoming potential star running back Keith Marshall could have some nicely-plowed earth in front of them for a few years.
What do you think of what UGA’s building on offense? Let us know in the comments.
