Late-night Burgers, Fries and Shakes at The Grill

The Grill is an Athens institution, with a very complete menu for anyone in your party to find something to enjoy, even the vegetarians (Are there vegan football fans? Just checking).

There are probably better burgers available, but when you put together the delicious greasy food and fresh cut fries along with the downtown ambiance that The Grill offers, its hard to beat the combination.

The hamburger patties are all handmade, and come in a variety of flavors (the cajun burger is a personal favorite), and then when you’ve stuffed yourself full of grilled and fried goodness, you can top off your gastric binge with one of their homemade shakes. Chocolate, vanilla or strawberry – nothing fancy – all made from real hand-dipped ice cream and whole milk.

Generally the grill is a great late-night destination, as they are open 24-hours, and probably not the best idea for a pre-game feast
