The news broke earlier this morning that Georgia defensive lineman Jonathan Taylor had been arrested and was being charged with aggravated assault, and it didn’t take long for the news to garner a reaction from the Bulldog Nation on Twitter

It would seem that most fans thought the Bulldogs were past this kind of nonsense for this offseason, with the dismissals of players such as Tray Matthews and Josh Harvey-Clemons sending a clear message that Mark Richt was not going to be lenient when it came to disciplinary issues.
It looks like Mr. Taylor missed that message, and now the reaction from fans is clearly not one of support.
Jonathan Taylor couldn't have waited until the Clemson game to let his "aggression" out? Dumbass. #UGA

Jonathan Taylor, D-Lineman and assaulter of women, should go to jail. And be thrown out of UGA.

Well goodbye Jonathan Taylor. Another player wasting his talent

And then there are those who took a…well…lighter approach to their reactions.

Not sure if those last few tweets were more a sad commentary on Taylor, or on Auburn…
Good luck at Auburn/Louisville RT @SethEmerson: UGA defensive lineman Jonathan Taylor currently in jail on felony aggravated assault charge.

Ahh..there’s the Louisville/Petrino reference we were waiting for…
And again…
'Dear Mark Richt, Boot Jonathan Taylor out of Georgia. We need another D-Lineman' - Auburn fans

So it seems on the whole the Bulldog Nation is ready to wave bye-bye to Jonathan Taylor. Given the fact that this is his second arrest (he was part of the check cashing scam in the spring) and the severe nature of these felony charges, it’s unlikely that coach Richt will keep him around.
