Quarterback:
We really only have two options here Georgia fans. As much as I love Aaron Murray he will likely not get much playing time this year so Matt Stafford is the quarterback of choice here.
Stafford initially was drafted to a struggling Detroit Lions and has proven himself to be quite the talent. (Georgia fans already knew this, but now the world is seeing what this guy can really do.) He now has a much better offensive line to protect him and has some great receivers to throw to–yes one of them went to Tech…I still throw up a little thinking about that.
With 29 touchdowns and 4650 yards he is a great choice for either a starting or backup QB. Downside to Stafford is that he does tend to throw a lot of interceptions, but you take the good with the bad. Personally I would take him as a backup in around the 4th or 5th round. A lot of people sleep on Matt Stafford so I would not use an early pick to get him.
