No. 3: Dylan Thompson – South Carolina Gamecocks
Dylan Thompson is not as much of a threat on the ground as his predecessor, Connor Shaw, but his arm is probably more impressive. He passes at a 58% completion rate and has a strong offensive line to support him, as well as a Heisman candidate running back in Mike Davis. Thompson’s ability to complete deep throws is going to be dangerous for any defense he faces. The big challenge for Thompson is going to be improving himself as a mobile quarterback, because the SEC defenses are going to come after him.
