No. 1: Maty Mauk – Missouri Tigers

After James Franklin’s was injured (again) last season, Maty Mauk stepped up for the Mizzou offense and they didn’t miss a beat (until they faced Auburn). Mauk is a mobile quarterback with a strong arm. If he can repeat his stellar performances from last year he could be the best quarterback in the SEC east. Downside to Mauk will be him being such a mobile quarterback could lead to possible injuries. He’s got an arm too, but the real question is does he have the players around him to make Missouri successful. He may be number one on this list, but the Tigers are still likely to struggle.
