Claiming National Titles
Auburn claims national titles like nothing I have ever seen. This summer alone they began to pursue a possibility of claiming 3 more than the 2 they already lay claim to. I know some schools do this as they think it actually makes them winners, but in my opinion I want a national championship that comes from actually winning a championship game. No game…no poll No. 1…no championship.
Let me break this down in simpler terms for any Auburn fan who may have stumbled on this article. In the game of football two teams play on a field. One team wins–the other team loses. There is no third option for a team that was not there to win. Stop claiming things you were not there for. It is embarrassing and sad.
