“What in the world is this picture doing in an article about SEC East Receivers?” you might be asking yourself. Well, without a good quarterback, even the best receiving corp has a hard time living up to its talent level. That pocket with Driskel upright might be the key to just how good the Gators receivers are in 2014.
A healthy year Driskel and their receivers, and a new offense from Kurt Roper suited to Florida’s talent may help this group finish higher on this list at the end of the year than the one it’s on right now. With top 20 rated guys like Andre Debose, Valdez Showers, Alvin Bailey and Demarcus Robinson and a healthy Jeff Driskel, the spread may have the Gator faithful chomping at the bit. The schedule they face may be what snaps them back to reality, though.
