Here we are, just 10 days away from the Georgia Bulldogs season opener against the Clemson Tigers.
All that’s left at this point for fans is to finish buying up all the red and black garments they can find, stock up on wings and antacids, and make sure the den is equipped with the biggest screen possible for viewing.
But for us here at Dawn of the Dawg, the time has finally come to sit down, take a hard look at the schedule and make our predictions.
Where (if anywhere) will Georgia stumble this season? Is there a dreaded “trap game” lurking amidst the powerful teams that the Bulldogs will face? Can Mark Richt break through and silence all the critics and doubters who say he can’t finish the drill?
Most importantly, will Georgia prove that it was injuries and other factors (who now are no longer part of the team) that caused the fall from grace last season, and bounce back with a vengeance.
Each of our writers here at Dawn of the Dawg will offer up their forecast – be it rainy or sunny – for how the Dawgs will come out of this season.
Like Phil Steele, Michael and Brad have an 11-1 season predicted, while Richard and Krisi have the Dawgs going undefeated. Only Sravanthi has more than one loss projected, giving Georgia a 10-2 record. See below to see which games and the spread.
Take the poll at the end, and let us know what your crystal ball-gazing tells you.
