Logos

The primary logo is the alligator head, mouth opened in mid-chomp. Other logos include the forward leaning F, a full alligator standing on hind legs wearing a Florida letter sweater, and the script Gators found on the Florida football helmets.

Lesser-used logos include a circle with the top and bottom hemispheres colored orange and blue, respectively, and a reverse image U and F carved into the top and bottom, respectively. There are others, but these are the primary logos.

When you see the Florida gator head, you think of the Florida Gators. No one is going to mistake these logos as representative of any other school. Florida has branded well and these logos are a big part of their branding success.

Georgia fans may find them repulsive, but the logos are extremely effective.  The distinctive gator logos quickly draw “Go Gators” from the Florida faithful and “Booooo” from any Bulldog within a mile.
