Here we go…

With both teams ranked in the top 20, a prime-time slot at 5:30, new quarterbacks on both sides, and a rivalry game that may not happen for at least a decade, this game has all the makings for another great matchup. As the late Lewis Grizzard said 30 years ago:

"“I hugged perfect strangers and kissed a fat lady on the mouth. Grown men wept.  Lightning flashed. Thunder rolled. Stars fell, and joy swept through, fetched by a hurricane of unleashed emotions.”"

I would be elated if the Dawgs win Saturday, but don’t count on me kissing a fat lady on the mouth. I will ring The Chapel Bell though.
