No 5: Blair Walsh, Kicker – Minnesota Vikings

Hey kickers are people too!

Coming in at number five is Blair Walsh. I put Walsh on here for three reasons.

  1. He is the best kicker in the league. He is practically Mr. Automatic, and Minnesota should be worshiping the ground on which he walks.
  2. Minnesota typically has problems punching it in. With the Vikings issues getting the ball anywhere passed the 40 yard line they are lucky to have the best long distance field goal kicker in the league on their side. Since the Vikings will not have their star running back this game may be on the shoulders of a kicker.
  3. I am team kickers. I absolutely adore kickers. As a Georgia fan I am happy we produce so many great and consistent players in this position. Also, lets not forget this is the same kicker who broke the NFL record for most 50 plus yard field goals a few years ago. He was a rookie that season.
