How big of a relief is it to see a passing grade for Georgia’s special teams? A unit that had been seriously lacking in the past few seasons looks crisp and well-coached this year. The coverage teams have been much improved, and kicker Marshall Morgan has been doing a great job of both kicking field goals as well as keeping opponents from returning kickoffs.

When kickoffs aren’t booted through the end zone, the coverage team could do a little better job of stopping returners inside the 20. Tennessee was able to get some fairly decent returns.

The punting game has been one of the best in the nation.
