Strong Forward

Nemanja Djurisic, a 6’8” 230 pound senior, will start at the strong forward position. Djusrisic is a very good three-point shooter and capable in the paint on both offense and defense. The Podgorica, Montenegro native started three games in 2013-2014. He shot  40 percent last year with a 36 percent rate of success from behind the three-point arc. Djurisic scored seven points a game playing a shade under 20 minutes.

Djurisic must score more points. It’s not rocket science  – its’ not even algebra; to score more Djurisic must shoot more.

A lot is riding on the play of Djurisic and the starting center as the likely first player off the bench in post rotation will be freshman Yante Maten.
