It’s Homecoming for the Dawgs!

Welcome to the live game thread for the Georgia Bulldogs fifth game of the 2014 season, an SEC tilt with the Vanderbilt Commodores from Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga.

More from Georgia Football

We do this every game to connect with the Bulldog Nation and share thoughts and observations (and hopefully not too many frustrations) during the game.

Georgia had a 6-game winning streak over the Commodores snapped last season in Nashville, in what was a physical and controversial game in terms of some calls that didn’t go Georgia’s way.

But this is a different Vandy team, without Jordan Matthews catching the ball and with a new head coach, Derek Mason, replacing James Franklin who had brought the Dores back to respectability in the conference. This year, the struggle is real at Vanderbilt.

For those of us not lucky enough to be among the Bulldog Nation at Sanford Stadium, we can all interact as the game progresses right here.

Just join in below in the comments section at the bottom of this post, and let us know what you think about the game as it happens, and we’ll be here to respond and chat with you.

It’s the Bulldogs and the Commodores, at 4:00 today.

Pregame questions (comment below):

  • What will be the X-factor in today’s game?
  • How early in the game will we see backup QB Brice Ramsey?
  • Will Malcolm Mitchell and Justin Scott-Wesley be factors in today’s game at all?
  • Is it time to get Isaiah McKenzie more touches?
  • Will Georgia lean on Todd Gurley again, or try to rest him for the upcoming road trip?

We’ll be signed on and ready to go right before kickoff. Join us today.
