No. 3 – Penn State Nittany Lions

If you’re going to pick a team from the Big Ten to schedule, why not pick one that has the best chance of being a ranked opponent and with a huge following.

Former Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin is now the head man in Happy Valley, and he’s got a history of antagonizing the Georgia faithful.

The Bulldogs and Nittany Lions have faced each other only once, and it was a meeting in the 1983 Sugar Bowl that decided the national championship, won unfortunately by Penn State.

This could turn into quite a rivalry if scheduled correctly as one of the early season non-conference games, and it would be interesting to see each team playing in the other’s home stadium for the first time.
