No. 2  – Clemson Tigers

Just keep this one going. It was a great rivalry in the 80s, and it’s a great one now.

Two schools separated by just a couple of hours, and constantly going after many of the same recruits makes for an intense game, and it’s certain that Clemson would like to make up ground in the 41-17-4 advantage the Bulldogs hold in the series.

Having Georgia-Clemson as the first game of the season the last two years has been an incredible ratings-grabber for the networks, and set the tone for the season on both sides.

If this one were a permanent non-conference game I don’t think fans from either side would complain. Hopefully the schedule makers agree.
