No. 1 – Florida State Seminoles

This one is almost a natural. Tallahassee is just five hours away from Athens, and Mark Richt first came to Georgia after serving as FSU’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach under Bobby Bowden.

The two teams have met 11 times in their history, with Georgia holding a 6-4-1 advantage over the Seminoles. As highly ranked as both teams generally are, it would be a schedule strength boost for both sides.

Place this game near the end of the season, say after the Florida game, and start creating some interesting scenarios between the Noles, Gators and Bulldogs. It would also give Georgia games against two ACC teams (Georgia Tech being the other), adding further fuel to the ACC-SEC rivalry fire.
