The Georgia-Florida game is almost upon us, and here are some fashion tips if you are going to make the trip.

It’s one of my two favorite times of year – the 2 weeks leading up to the Georgia v. Florida game, aka the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party (shh – we’re not supposed to call it that anymore).

One of the biggest delights I get is watching all of the University of Florida fans live up to the tacky dress stereotype we’ve come to love and make fun of. For all of us University of Georgia fans, we know the dress code for the game – NO jean shorts, or jorts for short; NO orange and for the love of all that’s red and black, no wife-beaters (or tank tops for the politically correct).

Over the past 16 years, I’ve been to many Georgia-Florida games and seen a wide variety of fashion choices. Here is what you should NOT be wearing to match-up in Jacksonville (and yes, all of these pictures are my own).

As we head into the 2014 Georgia-Florida game, let’s use these pictures as a reminder what NOT to wear. If you are a Florida fan reading this, please use this as a dressing guide. If you’re a Georgia fan, please remember – friends don’t let friends wear jorts.

I feel I need to mention that not all Florida fans dress like this. I have friends that are Florida alumni. There are some who choose to act and live out the stereotype placed upon them. All we can do is pity them.

What is the worst thing you’ve seen someone wear to a football game?
