Welcome to the live game thread for the Georgia Bulldogs eighth game of the 2014 season, the annual World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party in Jacksonville, Fl. against the hated Florida Gators.

More from Georgia Football

We do this every game to connect with the Bulldog Nation and share thoughts and observations (and hopefully not too many frustrations) during the game.

The Bulldogs are looking to make it four straight wins against the Gators, something that hasn’t been done since the days of Herschel Walker, but they’ll have to do it once against without the help of Todd Gurley.

The Gators are a team with their back against the wall, and head coach Will Muschamp is a coach with his seat on fire. The undermanned Gators will be fighting hard all game, and Georgia can’t take them lightly regardless of their record.

We talked about the relative strengths and weaknesses of the two team in our game preview, but everyone knows the man to watch will be Georgia QB Hutson Mason, who may have to carry his team against a defense that can be pretty stingy against the run.

Just join in below in the comments section at the bottom of this post, and let us know what you think about the game as it happens, and we’ll be here to respond and chat with you.

It’s the Bulldogs and the Gators, at 3:30 today.

Pregame questions (comment below):

  • Will Nick Chubb be the workhorse again, or will Douglas and Green be a bigger part?
  • Will QB Hutson Mason break throw more TDs than the Bulldogs get rushing?
  • Can Georgia top 200 yards rushing against the Gators?
  • Will Marshall Morgan be the hero?
  • Can Georgia extend their nation-leading +13 turnover margin?
