With the Georgia-Auburn game upon us in just a couple of days, its time to take a look at who some of the key players in this year’s contest could be.

The Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry is particular deep this year. Both the Georgia Bulldogs and Auburn Tigers are facing certain doom if they let this game slip away, so both teams will be looking to find the edge to get past the other.

Yes, Todd Gurley will be back on the field for the Bulldogs (Free at last…free at last!), and everyone will be watching number 3 to see if he’s going to pick up where he left off with Vanderbilt.

And of course, fans on both sides will be watching Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall, with Auburn fans hoping for another miracle touchdown bomb to crush the Dawgs again, and Bulldog fans keeping their fingers crossed for another #ButtSnap dropped at the feet of Marshall.

But there are a number of other players on both teams who should be watched closely other than the usual stars, and some of these young men could play a huge part in this year’s Georgia-Auburn game.

So direct your attention between the hedges to these players, and see if they come up with some performances or plays that help one side or the other to victory.
