I hoped this kid would be good, but to be such an impact player so early on? McKenzie (or the human joystick as he’s come to be known) has been a blessing that the Georgia nation should get down on their knees and thank the football gods for.

His speed and vision of the field is something I have not seen in a long time, especially from a freshman. The guy is a kickoff and punt returning machine. We all know that special teams has not been very special in recent years, but I have a feeling that with McKenzie all Georgia fans can rest easy.

He’s also played a big part on offense for a freshman, and you can bet that in years to come he’ll be even more integrated into Mike Bobo’s scheme. Whether it be a jet sweep, end around, or just plain “go deep, and I’ll find you”, McKenzie will be a name Dawg fans will remember for years to come.
